Yoga Classes

Yoga gives climbers amazing cross-training possibilities!

 

Rockreation offers a variety of yoga classes Monday through Friday including Vinyasa, power flow and Yin-Yoga. Click on the Yoga flier for descriptions and schedule you can print out.

Monday/Wednesday - Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Ruth (12:30-1:30pm)

Vinyasa flow (based on Ashtanga yoga) will move your body and breath through a series of postures that are strength and flexibility oriented, with focus on breath, asana, and meditation.

Monday - Hot Strength Yoga with Francyne (6:15-7:30pm)

Vinyasa flow (based on Ashtanga yoga) will move your body and breath through a series of postures that are strength and flexibility oriented, with focus on breath, asana, and meditation.

Monday - Kinstretch with Johnny (7:30-8:30pm)

Kinstretch- a movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility and usable ranges of motion.

Monday - Acro Yoga with Colleen & Jacky (8:30-9:30pm)

This modern form of yoga is a great way to build strength, improve balance and concentration. This class is a fun blend of acrobatics and yoga. You do not need a partner to join this class!

Tuesday - Vini Yoga with Ruth (6:00-7:00pm)

Viniyoga (based on Ashtanga yoga) will move your body and breath through a series of postures that are strength and flexibility oriented, with focus on breath, asana, and meditation.

 

Wednesday - Vinyasa Flow with Sara (6:00-7:00pm)

A beginner/intermediate level class that will help you build strength and increase flexibility. Vinyasa is an energetic, athletic form of yoga where students link breath to movement as they move fluidly from one pose to the next.

Thursday - Yoga with Jules (6:00-7:00pm)

Vinyasa flow (based on Ashtanga yoga) will move your body and breath through a series of postures that are strength and flexibility oriented, with focus on breath, asana, and meditation.

Thursday - Viniyoga with Michael (7:30-8:30pm)

This class is a combination of Yoga exercises, building strength and increasing flexibility through asana (poses), breath and meditation.
